Please Help those who have no Way To help Themselves

12/02/2008: Rescuing the Perishing
Rescuing the Perishing
Kalpana walks home from the Bridge of Hope grand opening with the special gifts she received. She smiles from ear to ear because she has witnessed Christ's love in a tangible way.
With feeble, painstaking steps, Kalpana Adler walks back to her home. The open sores and mangled toes on her left foot—and the total absence of her right foot—make the short journey extremely difficult. Kalpana leans heavily on her makeshift cane, gripping it as tightly as possible with one of her fingerless hands.
Despite her decrepit state, Kalpana has a joyful glimmer in her eye and a large, toothless grin. Today, she is filled with hope.
That's because, tucked under her arm rests a small box and a piece of neon green cloth. The box contains a kerosene lantern, and the cloth is a mosquito net. Although these rustic gifts aren't flashy, high-tech or expensive, they will dramatically change her life.
Kalpana—devastated by leprosy—was cast out of her village after contracting the disease. Now, making her home in the only place where she is accepted, Kalpana lives in a tiny, clay hut with no electricity or running water. Her home is surrounded by many others, each providing minimal shelter for a feeble resident who's been struck with leprosy.
Because their parents are infected with leprosy, the children do not have opportunities to attend school.
For these leprosy patients, life seemed dismal. They were shut out and forgotten by society. Unloved and rejected by everyone. Jobless and hurting, they couldn't imagine being valuable again. Then, Gospel for Asia native missionary Jiva Giri showed up.
The leprosy patients' children sing joyfully at the Bridge of Hope center's grand opening. They are thrilled to have the opportunity to attend school.
For the first time since contracting the destructive illness, the leprosy patients were treated like humans. Jiva, along with a team of other GFA missionaries, demonstrated Christ's love in the most tangible way—by cleaning their wounds and embracing them as friends.
And today, they were being even further touched by the love of Jesus. A Bridge of Hope center opened its doors for their children!
Kalpana and the other leprosy patients gathered at the new center to witness the beginning of an outreach that will change the future of many of their children. Because their parents are infected with leprosy, the children do not have opportunities to attend school.
The grand opening celebration warmed the hearts of the patients and gave them hope. The teachers and children sang songs, and GFA leaders spoke about Jesus. Then each patient was called up to the front to receive a special gift—the lantern and mosquito net—and among them was Kalpana.
Gospel for Asia missionaries prepare the mosquito nets and lanterns to be distributed to the leprosy patients.
Filled with delight as they received their gifts, not only did the leprosy patients' quality of life increase, but their self-worth grew as well. Each one will now be able to light their home after dark. And although malaria is prevalent in their area, they can shield themselves from mosquitoes at night when the disease-carrying insects are most active.
Through Jiva's ministry to the leprosy patients, many have decided to follow Christ. They have never before seen a God who is willing to come down and improve their dismal situation, and are deeply thankful to know that Jesus cares about their needs and their souls.
Through the Bridge of Hope center and gift distribution, the leprosy patients, like Kalpana, now realize that they are totally equal to anyone else in God's kingdom.

Ideas for the Months Ahead

Seven of Wands
Briefly: You are now on your way to your destiny, to fulfil some mission that you know you have to do.
Full Meaning: This card has a picture of a strong man, bearded and moustached on it and he is wielding a long wand and in front of him are six other wands. Each of these wands has a few green leaves on it symbolising fertility. He is a man of courage and strength. He has strong hands that are put to practical use. If you are this man then you are now on your way to your destiny, to fulfil some mission that you know you have to do. You are capable and wise. You are reaping the harvest and bringing home the bacon so to speak. You are not afraid of challenge nor hard work. You set your goals high and you always attempt to achieve them, despite whatever difficulties may get in your way. If you are not this person, then this type of man is going to enter your life and make a lot of changes to it. He is only there to help and to guide you. He will not push you anywhere you don't want to go, though will be available for advice and counselling where necessary. If you are a woman who has not yet had her first child, it is possible that a pregnancy is indicated by this card. The child may be conceived or born in winter. You will surmount all obstacles and achieve your dreams.
January
Six of Swords
Briefly: This is a card of travel and usually means going over water, though can mean an ocean voyage specifically.
Full Meaning: Aren't you lucky if you draw this card? You may be about to take off to further horizons and go exploring. This is a card of travel and usually means going over water, though can mean an ocean voyage specifically. You are usually not going alone, there is someone else with you. It is also a card showing that you are protected in some way or someone is looking after you and your needs at this time. It is time to relax and enjoy yourself and take time out to explore other parts of this wonderful world we live in. It is quite an adventurous card and shows that you are ready for new experiences and will welcome whatever changes arise. Your longing for distant shores also means that your life may have been becoming a little stagnant of late, and you need fresh air and a change of scenery. Go some place you have never been before and allow yourself to flow with the winds of change.
February
The World
Briefly: Travel is often associated with this card, new found freedom is just around the corner. You may also expect that your situation will improve quite dramatically in the near future and you are able to explore life with more energy and enthusiasm.
Full Meaning: The World. This card shows a woman standing in the centre of the card and all she is wearing is a piece of cloth draped around her body leaving her breasts bare. She is apparently dancing and has a wand of some type in each hand. She has long brown hair and is carefree and open about herself and her motives. There is a wreath of leaves and ribbon surrounding her and behind this is the bull, lion, eagle and the head of a male figure. These represent the four fixed signs of the zodiac which are Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius. These signs may very well be symbolic of someone in your life already who is having a huge influence on you, or it can represent someone coming into your life who is born under one of these signs of the zodiac. Travel is often associated with this card, as it can mean travelling the world and meeting many people on your journey. It is also a card of freedom which is indicated by the woman being almost naked. If you wish to be free of some limiting circumstance and then you draw this card, chances are you new found freedom is just around the corner. You may also expect that your situation will improve quite dramatically in the near future and you are able to explore life with more energy and enthusiasm. Circumstance can alter so quickly that you basically blink and then discover you have a new life opening up to you.
March
Four of Wands
Briefly: Perhaps the family is becoming more important to you or one long distant family member is coming to stay or you are planning to visit their home.
Full Meaning: This is a beautiful card to behold. To me it appears that there is a castle in the distance, on a hill-top and the two wands on either side seem to represent the entrance or gateway to this lovely home. The garland of flowers draped over the wands give an impression of comfort, warmth and beauty. For some this card can mean that you are about to move house. The new one will be a significant improvement on the current abode. If you have already just moved, then the emphasis will be on relaxation and a sanctuary way from the hustle and the bustle of city life. A home in the country would be a suitable location to be living in. Serenity and peace will be the mode of daily living. Perhaps the family is becoming more important to you or one long distant family member is coming to stay or you are planning to visit their home, which is probably at a distance from where you are at the moment.
April
Ace of Swords
Briefly: Broaden your horizons and make sweeping changes. Your future is about to move ahead in many and varied ways.
Full Meaning: When you draw this card, you are being given the urge to broaden your horizons and make sweeping changes. Your future is about to move ahead in many and varied ways. This card cuts aside those things and people that you no longer need or are relevant to your life.
This can also too be a fertility card, so if you are seeking to bring a new baby into the world, this can help to manifest it.
It is possible that you may feel like making a new beginning in your life and starting over.
You could move house, change jobs, get married or have a new baby arrive. Whichever you choose, it will be a welcome change and one that will require additional energy on your part, however you will more than adequately meet the new challenge.
Physically, it could mean that an operation is imminent, and that your health is undergoing some changes. It is possible that something has to be removed, whether that be a tooth or other body part, and it may be replaced with an artificial part. This gives the ability to recover quickly and to get on with the rest of your life.
You may also be undergoing major psychological changes where you are feeling more confident and outgoing. You may start becoming more ambitious or self-motivated and ready to take on new challenges and dare to do more than you have ever done before. Luck is on your side.
May
Three of Wands
Briefly: The seeker of knowledge and truth. He searches until he finds what he is looking for.
Full Meaning: This card depicts a man with his back to us though revealing part of his face as he looks out over the hillside. He holds a wand in his hand which has three leaves sprouting from it signifying growth and abundance. In front of him is another wand and behind him the third wand. He is contemplating his future and possibly the journey ahead of him. In the distance are mountains with high peaks. It appears to be an almost barren environment, warm and dry. However he has with him the symbols of growth and can plant wherever he sees fit. He wants to settle down, but must first wander and roam until he finds his true home. This card too is the seeker of knowledge and truth. He searches until he finds what he is looking for.
June
Two of Wands
Briefly: Time to consider a new move in your life that will make big changes to your existing living arrangements.
Full Meaning: This card shows a man with part of his back to us and he is holding a staff in one hand and a globe of the world in the other and is looking out towards a distant mountain. He appears to be studious and in deep concentration. He may be seriously considering his future. He is tall and well built and wears a helmet for protection and a cloak for warmth.
This can suggest that you are about to consider a new move in your life that will make big changes to your existing living arrangements. You may actually uproot yourself and move to another country, another state or another town. Your job is obviously undergoing some kind of transformation and you may be breaking new ground with some new endeavour. This will require your time, your patience and your strong belief in yourself that you can do anything you set out to do.
You could be presented with a rather unique opportunity that leads you on to pursue your wildest dreams. Or you may have developed your own vision or idea and be in the process of bringing this all to fruition by your very own hands. Don't let others sidetrack you at this stage, for you are vulnerable to suggestion and may listen to some bad advice or discouragement. Trust in your own wisdom and you will ultimately have the last laugh.
July
Justice
Briefly: The time has come to reflect on the choices you have made along the way. This card shows that wrongs will be put right.
Full Meaning: Whatever your past has brought to you, the time has come to reflect on the choices you have made along the way. Perhaps there were things you would rather not have done, and your are planning now to make amends for anything you would like to clear up once and for all. If there have been some people who have crossed you and brought you distress, you are now wise and mature enough to deal with it in an intelligent and abstract way. Your thoughts are on making things better and improving your relationships. If you have to go to a court of law around this time, the final decision will be one that is fair to you. This card shows that wrongs will be put right. You can assist this process by addressing those issues that had caused friction and pain in your life and make some headway towards a more harmonious relationship with those closest to you.
August
Eight of Wands
Briefly: A new love is coming into your life and very swiftly at that.
Full Meaning: This card has a picture of eight wands running right across it. For some this can mean that a new love is coming into your life and very swiftly at that. It brings things quickly into focus and gives you the opportunity to seize a brilliant opportunity or improve your life in some way. You could also be about to move to a more tranquil setting in either your home life or the location or your work. A river or other picturesque scene may be part of your new environment, or you may meet someone special in just such a location. If you are planning a pregnancy, now may be your most fertile time. The energy of the season of Spring may make you feel inspired to be especially creative.
September
Temperance
Briefly: Temperance will inspire us to be more ourselves, bringing out the pure essence of our being and approaching life in the way a child does, with wonder and excitement at the newness of being. You are on the verge of a new lifestyle and if you seek it you will find peace and contentment more than you ever have before.
Full Meaning: This card is such a lovely card to look at. Pictured is a person who appears to be an angel and there are enormous wings on their back signifying that they are not a mere mortal. When we draw this card it can inspire us to be more ourselves, bringing out the pure essence of our being and approaching life in the way a child does, with wonder and excitement at the newness of being. We are able to put things into perspective and bring some balance and harmony into our daily lives if we can just slow down a little and take time to see the beauty that is there all around us. We may start to appreciate that the Sun comes up every day, the scent of fresh flowers as they bloom in Springtime and the colour of the sky on a clear blue day, and if there are some clouds, they can appear like puffs of fairy floss and seem almost edible. You are being guided to bring out the best in yourself and in your surroundings. You may feel the desire to get closer to nature and this can manifest in various ways. Either you start a garden or buy lots of plants to put in your home or you move out to the country and live on a farm or other type of similar situation. Also you can more readily tune into your emotions and what gives you satisfaction in life. You are on the verge of a new lifestyle and if you seek it you will find peace and contentment more than you ever have before.
October
Three of Swords
Briefly: Three people may be involved in a dispute or go their separate ways.
Full Meaning: This is a minor arcana card, however, when its energies manifest, it can seem like a major event at the time, due to its intensity and how it makes you feel. The card symbolically shows three swords, one dripping in blood, which represents pain and distress. Often a separation from someone occurs at this time or some kind of friction or dispute. It often feels quite tormenting and hurtful at the time and is difficult to get through while this feeling lasts. Three people may be involved in a dispute or go their separate ways, or become involved in an emotional tug of war. However, once the anger or hurt is expressed openly and each airs their grievances, it is usually only a matter of hours or days before you feel better again and the issue may be resolved permanently, or at least for the time being, which eases the stress levels. Sometimes, a person may need to have an operation or there is some minor injury, which usually heals quite quickly.
November
Five of Swords
Briefly: A time where one person has won out at the expense of two other people.
Full Meaning: This card is mostly dark in colour and can represent a time of fear or depression. There are 3 people in the picture and one of them has the upper hand in the matter. The other two have lost something that they valued, whether it was love, a material possession of whatever to the one who is holding three of the swords.
In the background there is the Sun setting so this can indicate early evening. One of the people is on his knees and appears to be sad and crying. He has lost whatever he/she once had and is now sorry, but it is all too late. Generally I read this as one person has won out at the expense of two other people and they are walking away with their trophy, person or thing of value. The others have lost out and they now know it. They may feel they have been betrayed, but they weren't, it was a matter of the best one winning, and there could only be one winner in this situation. Usually this means that you are the one who is the winner

Dear Cheryl
You know I think that it would be a good idea to try and learn how to make use of the word document and learn how to file all letters and information that I have learned and found that could be quite useful for a job I may get.
Anything else that would be of use for an Office Administrative job would be of benefit if I would learn and remember all that is required so that I would be able to accomplish every thing that is required without any difficulty.
What I have learned before in that course now I may have a chance to put into practice what I have learned because I have lost the job with Walmart. Now it is time to move on and do some sit down job rather then do so much walking around. Of course what ever I have experienced in life I could realized it was just a learning experience as well as to mature in several ways..
I sent a resume out to this one place and I am hoping that I may get a phone call from them. Maybe I will be able to work in the city,. Of course I will have to take the bus there. It will be about a half an hour each way but we will see.
I kind of like this word perfect that I have found on the internet. I may not need it a lot but when I type it will automatically show me my spelling errors as well as things like how my sentences are formed to make sense as well as punctuation so that I can casually type my letters and not worry about too much because it will usually turn out fine when I check it later on.
Of course this is not the normal way to make a letter with the fancy writing style letters but it is more like a letter that is personal
The picture that I want to put in here will relate to the pictures that I saved in the filesI put the pictures in there but

The Odd and the Unusual

The Glorious Creations
You take a little time to look at flowers and trees,
And then you wonder at the lovely cooling breeze.
The heavens declare the glory of our Lord,
So let us meditate and gaze upon the world.
To thank the Lord each day for all the blessings here;
We know that he has made us so we need never fear
That the things that happen to us in this life
Will never be too bad because he is very nice.

Lovely Painting and the beauty of Flowers. This is about reconnecting with your self and your companions

Reconnect to you
It's easy to lose track of who we really are in a love relationship, whether it's because we're wrapped up in a new relationship or just the day-to-day hustle. That's not a judgment, it's just that maintaining self-awareness simply takes work. As such, it's vital to your personal fulfillment that you check in with yourself regularly to monitor those changes, stay attuned with yourself and adapt accordingly. It's also important to your relationship. Why? Because before you can get what you truly want from a partner, you have to know exactly what that is (and vice versa)! Life happens and no matter how in touch we think we are, we all grow and change - all the time. Ask yourself if it's time for some self-discovery. The answer is almost certainly yes.
Find your ever-changing truth
Since everyone is a work in progress (and yes, that means you), make it a point on a regular basis to take some time for yourself to reflect on your relationship. Breathe and focus your energy inward. What is it that you want in a partnership? What makes you feel good about the one you've got? What makes you feel not so good? What are your own strengths and weaknesses in love? It doesn't matter what any self-help book or guru or rules say you should do, expect, want or need. What you're looking for in this quiet time are the things that feel right to you deep down, the questions you need answered. Think long-term and short-term. And write it all down before you start analyzing. The point is, you're communing with your higher self, which doesn't give false answers.
Your higher self is who you are in your gut - barring any insecurities or conditioning engrained by the outside world. It doesn't change based on who you're with and it shouldn't be held down to accommodate what you think someone else wants. It simply is.
Share your discoveries
Now that you know what you want, it's time to work on getting it, which means being just as honest with your partner as you've been with yourself. If this scares you, you're not alone. However, it's time to face your fears.
Openness is the basis for intimacy. If someone runs from your desire or willingness to share of yourself honestly, then that person is not for you anyway. There is no point in pretending to be someone you're not in an effort to keep someone. Doing that just sells both of you short by ensuring neither of you will be genuinely happy or fulfilled. So gather your courage and let your truth rip… well, not rip exactly. Let it emanate. You've heard the phrase "be the change you wish to see." It applies here. Let your truth permeate your actions as well as your words. But don't think for one second you don't need to show and tell. Not everyone can read actions alone, you have to express your needs verbally if you want them met. But remember, it's not just what you say that's important. It's how you say it.
Turn of phrase
Authenticity does not permit negativity (or allow one partner to dictate the when and where of the discussion). When it comes to expressing yourself in a relationship, you'll no doubt catch more flies with honey. So leave the vinegar at home. For starters, don't criticize or complain. Don't yell, scream, huff, puff or coddle. Don't put your partner down, place blame on them for your feelings or lace your words with passive aggressive intonation. Be straightforward and open, ask questions to be sure you're understood and learn to phrase things from a place of perspective. This way, you can never come off as accusatory.
For example, "It makes me feel ___ when you do ___." "I love it when you ___." "I really need to feel safe in a relationship, and what that means for me is a partner who does ___." If you frame things with your goals in mind, specifically that you want to build a happy, healthy and mutually satisfying relationship, there is less for your partner to object to. Especially if you make it clear you're asking them to share their thoughts and feelings as well.
On that note, remember that timing is everything. You don't want to start a hefty conversation after a difficult day or too many glasses of wine - it can make mountains out of molehills. Similarly, you need to have enough time by yourselves to have an open discussion. So, choose your time and place wisely.
Lastly, remember that being your authentic self does not give you license to run rampant demanding your desires be met. Rather, it means staying grounded in the moment, taking stock of the situation and being honest about your own shortcomings in an effort to grow together. In turn, it also means compromise.'The tide of destiny has turned for me today. Everything now begins to go my way.'

HOPE FOR TOMORROW

Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these.
30If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?
31So do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?'
32For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well
. 34Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

Thursday, July 24, 2008

I put this here because I had a chance to go to Nevada to pick one of them up because of my poetry. The day I would have gotten it would have been in one or two days from now. for writing the poem the Heart of God.
Which I have printed here.. I just wanted a chance to share my thoughts with others and even though I couldn't it is in my heart the plan that could have been and if I would not have written it I would never have had that chance.
So it is perfectly ok how things worked out.
